Ryan Phillippe: 'Divorce Is Difficult'

“Extra's” Jerry Penacoli sat down for an exclusive one on one with Ryan Phillippe over the Super Bowl weekend, as the sexy actor opened up about everything from the paparazzi invading his life to his highly publicized split from Oscar winning actress Reese Witherspoon.

“Everyday it's up and down; it is the most difficult time in my life,” Phillippe admitted. “The focus really has to be on our kids; we both love them so much, and they're doing amazingly well… better than I am probably. But it's difficult, life ain't easy.”

As for the persistent paparazzi and tabloid headlines, Ryan confessed, “I wish it wasn't a part of my life, people digging through my trash and following me to my children's school, but I can't stop it. There are no laws to protect anybody from it. I signed up for this to some extent; I have to deal with it.”

One thing Ryan hopes to find soon? A balance in his life, admitting, “I don't think I've found it yet… that's what I want.”
