Actress Catherine Zeta-Jones is living her best life, happily married to Michael Douglas with two beautiful children, and now, she's launching her own home goods line!
“Extra’s” AJ Calloway sat down with Catherine, who got candid about her life at home, saying, “It’s an exciting time for me.”
Catherine also gave a health update on Michael, who beat throat cancer. She said, “He’s good, very healthy, too healthy… Yeah, I am like, ‘Stop.'”
They're also now living with a teenager since their daughter Caryn is 13! Catherine said it was “so fun” to watch her little girl grow up before her eyes.
Of her "tight-knit family,” the 47-year-old dished, "Sometimes they give way too much information and I’m like, 'Whoa! Stop, I’m your mother. I don’t want to know that...' Yeah, too many words, don’t want to know, eeeeek.” She added, “I think Michael and I haven’t given them anything to rebel against and the boundaries, they know the boundaries and they don't violate those because they are pretty broad."
As for her secret to a long-lasting Hollywood marriage, Catherine shared, “Being kind, being nice, having your listening ears.” The pair have been married for 17 years.
The multi-talented, Oscar-winning actress is launching her new home collection Casa Zeta-Jones in partnership with QVC, saying, “To see it go from drawing an idea to come to fruition is just so wonderful.”
Her inspiration for the collection comes from her family and Welsh background. She pointed out, “From where I come from, my great-grandmother was a seamstress… I just know that world of getting fabrics.”
Her traveling as a young actress also came into play since she had to “create a home wherever I went.” Plus, living in the public eye with Michael had an impact. She commented, “Our four walls are our sanctuary.”
