Annette Roque’s Subtle Response to Those Matt Lauer Split Rumors
After news broke about Matt Lauer's sexual misconduct allegations, his wife Annette Roque has remained quiet at their Hamptons home.
The state of Lauer and Roque's marriage has been called into question amid allegations that he was sexually inappropriate with a number of women during their 19-year marriage.
After the shocking allegations broke, Lauer apologized for his actions, saying, “There are no words to express my sorrow and regret for the pain I have caused others by words and actions. To the people I have hurt, I am truly sorry. As I am writing this, I realize the depth of the damage and disappointment I have left behind at home and at NBC.”
Earlier this week, both were spotted without their wedding rings. A source told People magazine that they are still living under the same roof, saying, “They're taking it day by day right now. His focus is on his family.”
Annette's father Henri recently claimed that they will be heading for a divorce. He told DailyMailTV, “I have no words for her husband. What he has done is bad. Everybody feels betrayed. She is not going to stay with him and work it out. They are not together trying to work it out.”

He told People magazine, “I am living in my apartment with Annette and my children as a family and a couple. I have never moved out. I am not moving out. There is no truth to that.”
He also addressed cheating rumors at that time, saying, “The accusations [of infidelity] are ridiculous and I'm not going to [dignify] them with an answer. It's not true.”
