Seacrest was accused of a pattern of sexually inappropriate behavior by stylist Suzie Hardy, was investigated by his employers at E!, and was not punished because the investigation turned up no damaging evidence.
Seacrest told THR, "...The majority of my co-workers have been women, and I've endeavored to foster a positive work environment of mutual respect and courtesy... I'm proud of my workplace reputation, and believe my track record will speak for itself."
The rumor comes as Page Six reports E! has asked NBC to set up a 30-second delay in case any stars confront Seacrest on the carpet.
Kelly Ripa, Seacrest's co-host on "Live!," said on the air this week to Ryan, "I just want you to know that you are a privilege to work with, and I adore you." The Daily Beast reported that Seacrest cried after her strong statement of support.
