Max Ehrich Reacts to Demi Lovato Split
Max Ehrich has seemingly responded to the reports that he and former fiancée Demi Lovato are over — and it doesn't sound like he was in on the decision!
In an Instagram Story Friday, Ehrich posted his thoughts on a black background, asking his followers to, "Imagine finding out the status of your relationship through a tabloid."
He went on to write, "... While your in the middle of filming a biopic movie about a Pastor in a Christian Church whose intention of the film is to help people."
His final words: "God bless."
Ehrich was referencing the movie "Southern Gospel," about a rock star whose life takes a turn when he decides to become a preacher. It is currently filming in Georgia.
For her part, Demi has remained mum on the split, though a source close to her maintains to People magazine that she made Max aware they were over before the news broke publicly. On Friday, she took to Instagram to promote a partnership with an online therapy service.
Demi Lovato and Max Ehrich reportedly called off their engagement last week. Ehrich has wiped all traces of Demi from his social media, while Demi has left up images she had posted related to Ehrich.

A source told People magazine of their recent split, “It was a tough decision, but Demi and Max have decided to go their separate ways to focus on their respective careers. They have respect and love for one another and will always cherish the time they spent together.”
Rumors of the split have been swirling after Lovato's bodyguard and sister recently unfollowed Ehrich.
To fuel more rumors, Demi and Max have not been liking each other's recent photos on Instagram.
Lovato ditched her engagement ring in an Instagram Story in which she wore a "Dogs over People" tee, which may have been a reference to the loyalty of one species compared to that of another.
The split came just two weeks after Lovato addressed alleged old tweets from Ehrich about Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande. Calling them fake tweets, Demi wrote on Instagram, “It's really sad when people FAKE images to put women against each other. If women have conflict that's between them NOT YOU. Yes, it's easier to tear apart celebrities and their relationships because 2020 sucks and scares the s--- out of us all but it's only gonna stay terrifying until we address it all and WORK ON SOLUTIONS TOGETHER.”
In July, Max popped the question to Demi in Malibu after just three months of dating. At the time, she gushed on Instagram, “@maxehrich - I knew I loved you the moment I met you. It was something I can't describe to anyone who hasn't experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too.. I've never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all. You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself.”
