What Prince Harry Revealed About Megxit and Trump During Prank Call
Prince Harry got duped in a phone call by Russian prank duo Alexei Stolyarov and Vladimir Krasnov, The Sun reports.
Apparently, Harry thought he was talking to climate change activist Greta Thunberg, 17, and her father Svante, when he opened up about Megxit and President Donald Trump.
So why did Harry and Meghan Markle decide to step down from royal duties? He explained, "This decision certainly wasn't the easy one, but it was the right decision for our family, the right decision to be able to protect my son, and I think there's a hell of a lot of people around the world that can identify and respect us for putting our family first. But, yeah, it's a tricky one, but we will start a new life.”
It turns out royal life isn't all it's cracked up to be. He said, “I can assure you marrying a prince or princess is not all it's made out to be. There's lots of layers to it and lots of pieces to the puzzle.”
Is living a normal life better than being a royal? The 35-year-old said, “Oh, no, I think it's much better. You forget, I was in the military for 10 years, so I'm more normal than my family would like to believe.”
What Happened When Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Reunited with Prince William & Kate Middleton
View StoryHe insisted he and Meghan have not been stripped of their royal titles, but they were asked not to use them to make money.
Harry also talked politics, accusing Trump of having “blood on his hands” for “pushing the coal industry” in America.
He added, “Trump will want to meet you to make him look better, but he won't want to have a discussion about climate change with you because you will outsmart him."
The Prince continued, "Unfortunately, the world is being led by some very sick people, so people like yourselves and (the) younger generation are the ones that are going to make all the difference."
For a prank, the call turned out to be more substantive than a standard interview!
The royal family has not commented.
