Ariana Grande Hosts, Sings on, Drops S-bomb on 'SNL'
Ariana Grande became one of a handful of celebs to simultaneously serve as host and musical guest on "Saturday Night Live," and she knocked it out of the park!
Revealing her Nickelodeon-honed timing, she slayed in her opening monologue. Watch:
She wowed viewers by previewing two totally new songs from her upcoming album "Dangerous Woman" — the title track and "Be Alright."
Showing off her comedic and vocal chops in an instant-classic sketch, Ariana, playing timid Tidal intern Chloe, impersonated Britney Spears, Shakira, Rihanna, Céline Dion, and Whitney Houston. Watch (and listen) here!
Ariana didn't just imitate singers, she also did a spot-on impression of Jennifer Lawrence in one of the skits. Watch!
Also, to satisfy those looking for a little spicy controversy, she cursed ("Oh, sh*t!") when she messed up while singing.
According to Variety, Ariana's S-bomb is not without precedent — cast members Charles Rocket and Cheri Oteri, and featured player Jenny Slate, all swore on the live show in the past.
Most importantly: No donuts were licked in the making of the Ariana Grande episode of "SNL."
