Lopez asked about her Montecito home after the wet and wild extreme California weather just months after the area was scorched with wildfires.
“It's very frightening. We're evacuated once again. We need the rain but those burn zones are dangerous for everybody because whatever's still left up in the mountains is coming down.”
Mario also asked about her headline-making “Relatable" Netflix special.
“I was really very happy with it. I think it's my best special that I've done,” she said.
DeGeneres revealed that her wife Portia de Rossi loved it, adding, “She had never seen me do stand-up before.”
Would she ever do stand-up again? Ellen said, “Yeah, I'm busy all the time, but if I have the chance, I definitely want to go back and do it again.”
One of the things keeping her busy is “Ellen's Game of Games.” She teased the upcoming episodes, saying, “We like to get messier and scarier.”
“Ellen's Game of Games” returns tonight at 8 p.m.
