Demi Lovato’s Suspected Overdose: The Hours Leading Up to the 911 Call, and How She’s Doing Now
Demi Lovato is recovering after reportedly overdosing and being rushed to L.A.'s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Tuesday.
New reports claim paramedics were called to her $8-million Hollywood Hills home after an all-night party.
TMZ says those close to the pop star were there when authorities arrived, but gave no information about the drug or drugs that caused the OD.
Before the bash, Demi was spotted at the Saddle Ranch on the Sunset Strip, where she was celebrating a backup dancer's birthday. No word on whether the same friends went back to Lovato's for an after-party.
Demi reportedly wasn't in a good place in recent months.
Inside sources told People, “Things have been a total mess for months. She and her team severed ties, and they played a large part in getting her sober years ago. She hasn't been in a good place.”
Now, her rep says, “Demi is awake and with her family,” and RadarOnline.com reports the “Skyscraper” singer will enter rehab. The plan is to find a treatment center outside of L.A., away from any triggers.

She added, “My ups and downs keep me strong.”
Lovato said, “Being able to help people in recovery is something I'm passionate about.”
