'Blessed' Bindi Irwin Honors the Beloved Men in Her Life
Bindi Irwin is bursting with love and gratitude on the occasion of her boyfriend's birthday.
People magazine reports that the "Dancing with the Stars" sensation, who is the daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin, posted a sepia photo of herself with boyfriend Chandler Powell in honor of his 19th birthday.
She captioned the Instagram photo: "Happy birthday to a person who inspires me every day. A soul who makes me smile no matter where I am in the world, despite any amount of distance. Thank you for the endless hugs, late night conversations about life, holding my hand when a loud noise scares me and laughing along with all my bindi moments. I'm blessed to be a part of your world."
Powell, a pro wakeboarder, is the one who has been by Bindi's side during her grueling "DWTS" rehearsals, binding her feet and even enduring the time one of her toenails fell off and whizzed past him.
In her very next Instagram post, Bindi told her followers that November 14 was Steve Irwin Day in her native Australia. Her wish for November 15 is that we "celebrate together on the other side of the world... Thank you for joining us in making a difference. Wearing our khakis and remember everything Dad did do to change the world."
