It’s Official! Nikki Reed & Ian Somerhalder Marry in Malibu
Nikki Reed and Ian Somerhalder officially tied the knot Sunday, April 27 in Malibu among friends and family, People confirmed.
The “Twilight” actress and the “Vampire Diaries” star both wore white to the wedding, which took place in Topanga Canyon. The bride wore a beautiful, long-sleeved lace dress, while the groom looked handsome in an all-white suit with a baby blue tie.
Photos of the newly married couple surfaced Monday morning, showing the two smiling and holding one another during the outdoor ceremony. One pic showed the groom carefully carrying his bride down the mountain.
"Most beautiful morning ever," Somerhalder tweeted earlier in the day.
The two had been dating for six months before getting engaged in January 2015. The wedding talk really ramped up when they went public at the Golden Globes after-party last year. Nikki's divorce from "American Idol" alum Paul McDonald became final at the beginning of the year. Ian and co-star Nina Dobrev reportedly broke up in the Spring of 2013.
