Pink Says Daughter Willow Takes After Dad Carey Hart
"Extra's" Terri Seymour caught up with Pink at a Fertile Action event in L.A. where she was being honored with the Visionary Award.
The Grammy winner opened up about her family, saying that her daughter Willow may not make the best big sister.
“I think she really enjoys being the center of attention… I see siblings that are kind of violent toward their younger ones, and I feel like that might be the way she goes with it.”
Pink says Willow takes after her dad, Carey Hart. “She’s a maniac, she’s an absolute maniac which is all her dad’s fault. I am physical, but I’m cautiously physically. Carey is reckless and Willow is taking after him.”
The Grammy winner also said that outside of work, life is pretty normal. She described herself as a homebody who enjoys gardening, adding, “I’m learning how to make homemade popsicles at the moment.”
As for her work with Fertile Action, helping women touched by cancer preserve their fertility, Pink said, “My family is my anchor, I think everybody should have that opportunity if they so choose.”
She also paid tribute to the woman she credits with saving her life two years ago, Dr. Maggie DiNome.
"No one could figure out what was wrong with me, and she figured it out in a day," Pink said of the Chief of General Surgery at Saint John's Hospital in Santa Monica.
It turns out the mysterious pain Pink was having was her gallbladder, which has since been removed.
