Seth Rogen ‘Truly’ Wants to Clarify His ‘American Sniper’ Tweet
Actor Seth Rogen wants us to understand he was NOT slamming “American Sniper” in any way with his jokey tweet.
He posted a Twitter mea culpa on Thursday, explaining what meant when he wrote earlier this week, “'American Sniper' kind of reminds me of the movie that's showing in the third act of 'Inglorious Basterds,'” referencing the Nazi propaganda film that played in the last part of Quentin Tarantino's film.

"I truly hope this clears things up," Rogen added at the end.
The original tweet caused a backlash from fans and elicited responses from some celebs, including Kid Rock and Dean Cain.
Documentary filmmaker Michael Moore also stepped in it earlier this week when he posted a tweet about how “snipers aren't heroes” when talking about how his uncle was killed in WWII by a Japanese sniper.
Moore then clarified in a Facebook post that his tweet had nothing to do with “American Sniper,” that he never even mentioned the film and that he actually liked the Clint Eastwood war drama starring Bradley Cooper.
