Celebrity Feud? 'Bachelorette' Trista Sutter Fires Back at Jay Leno
Jay Leno told the most awkward story about the original “Bachelorette” Trista Sutter last week, and now the reality star is firing back.
In Craig Ferguson's final interview as host of “The Late Late Night,” Leno told him, "I had one of these reality stars on — Trista! From one of these 'Bachelorette,' or whatever it was... so I'm sitting there and she's like here, and I'm talking to her like this, and I'm looking at the side of her head because I tend to look [there]. So we're talking about — I couldn't be less interested. I'd never seen the stupid reality show, didn't know what it was."
Jay said that after he interviewed Trista, he ran into her in the parking lot and she asked for a picture. He thought Trista was a fan, and asked her name! Oops.
Luckily, Sutter is taking it all in stride. She tweeted, "After 10 yrs, ironic that I'm the topic of convo on @CraigyFerg last show. Thx 4 the shoutout @jayleno! Next time, plz mention my book. ;)"
Trista, who appeared on “The Bachelorette” in 2003, released “Happily Ever After: The Life-Changing Power of a Grateful Heart” in November 2013.
