Corinne Olympios & DeMario Jackson Set to Return for ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Special
After their recent sex scandal, Corinne Olympios and DeMario Jackson will be making a special return to “Bachelor in Paradise.”
In a statement to “Extra” on Wednesday, Olympios that she'll be part of the reunion special, saying, "I am very happy to be appearing on the 'Bachelor in Paradise' special.”
A source told E! News, "They invited her to appear on the reunion and she wants to go. It's not a contractual thing. She's still close with her 'Bachelor' family. She's looking forward to being back."
"She's excited to finally come out and speak," the insider added.
Days before, Jackson told TMZ, "I'm doing the 'Men Tell All' for 'The Bachelorette' and I'll be doing 'Paradise' as well. I owe it to my castmates. They've been very supportive of me throughout this whole entire thing, and I want to thank them all personally, face-to-face — give them all hugs and bro out or sis out, or whatever. They've been so helpful.”
Last month, Olympios declined the offer to return to the show after her legal team completed their own investigation into the scandal. In a statement, she shared, "I respectfully made the decision not to return.”
“Bachelor in Paradise” resumed filming after Warner Bros. concluded that there was no sexual assault. Production was halted after it was reported that Olympios and Jackson engaged in sex acts while intoxicated.
According to TMZ, the show also implemented new rules regarding alcohol consumption and sex. The contestants are now limited to two drinks per hour and must ask a producer for permission to have sex with another contestant.
The show is set to premiere Monday, August 14, on ABC.
