This Is Not a Drill! There Is Going to Be a 'Friends' Reunion!
UPDATE: Bummer! It was just announced that Matthew Perry won't be able to make the "Friends" reunion due to a scheduling conflict with his London play "The End of Longing." His rep says he may tape a tribute for James Burrows instead.
“Friends” fans, rejoice! The long-awaited reunion is happening… well, sort of.
NBC announced today that the cast will be getting back together for a two-hour special celebrating sitcom director James Burrows, who just shot his 1,000th TV episode for television.
NBC Entertainment Chairman Robert Greenblatt told reports at the Television Critics Association, "I'm hoping all six will be in the same room at same time. I'm not sure we can logistically pull it off."
Those six stars include Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
LeBlanc already tweeted, “Should be a good time!”
Watch the special Feb. 21 on NBC.
