Did politics bring a rift between Ivanka Trump and Chelsea Clinton?
The former first daughter and the current first daughter have had a long-standing friendship over the years, but have not spoken since the election.
During an interview with "20/20,” which aired the night before the inauguration, Ivanka said, "She's been a friend of mine long before the campaign, and of course will be a friend of mine after.” She admitted, “I haven't spoken about the specific challenges about this next chapter with her just yet, but I intend to.”

Back in July, Chelsea chatted about their friendship with “Extra's” AJ Calloway ahead of the DNC. She said, “It has nothing to do with politics. We were friends before this election, we'll be friends after this election.” Watch!
To comply with ethics laws while her father is in office, fashion designer and businesswoman Ivanka recently stepped down from her role as an executive VP at the Trump Organization and as head of her fashion brand.
Ivanka and husband Jared Kushner have made the move to Washington, D.C., as Jared is taking on the role of senior advisor to his father-in-law. On Twitter, she called her family's arrival in D.C., “A very special moment!”
