Body of Missing 'August: Osage County' Actress May Have Been Found
UPDATE: A spokeswoman for the family of Misty Upham confirmed to the Hollywood Reporter that it was Upham's body found in a ravine in Washington State. She was 32.
The body of Misty Upham, who played Meryl Streep's housekeeper in "August: Osage County," may have been found. She went missing last week in Washington State.
Upham's family told TMZ that a search team found a body in a ravine on Thursday, and although it has yet to be identified, her family fears the worst.
The search team, which includes family, friends and other members of the Native American community around Auburn, Wash., have not been able to reach the body because of the steep terrain, but TMZ says authorities have been notified.
Upham was last seen on October 5th, walking by herself after she told her parents she was going to visit friends.
Her dad told the Hollywood Reporter that Misty had been dealing with erratic behavior and had recently changed her meds. He feared she might be suicidal.
The actress is also known for her turn in the indie drama “Frozen River,” and for appearing on the HBO show “Big Love.”
