Actress Mia Farrow's son Thaddeus Wilk Farrow has died. He was 27.
According to the Hartford Courant, police are investigating his death after he was found seriously injured in his car along Route 67 in Connecticut. They do not believe there was a “criminal aspect” to his passing.
Authorities arrived to the scene at 12:45 p.m. and transported him to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:30 p.m.
Mia adopted Thaddeus from Calcutta in 1994. He had been diagnosed with polio and was paraplegic.
In 2013, Vanity Fair reported that Thaddeus was working as a mechanic and studying to become a police officer. He told the magazine at the time about being adopted by Mia at 12 years old, "It was scary to be brought to a world of people whose language I did not understand, with different skin colors,” he said. “The fact that everyone loved me was a new experience, overwhelming at first.”
Thaddeus was one of Mia's 14 children.
