First Pic! Alec & Hilaria Baldwin Welcome Baby #5

On Wednesday morning, Hilaria revealed that she gave birth to their fifth child, a son. Along with posting a pic with their little one in the hospital, she wrote on Instagram, “We had a baby last night. He is perfect and we couldn't be happier 🌟. Stay tuned for a name.”

Their son joins their other children: Carmen Gabriela, 7, Rafael Thomas, 5, Leonardo Ángel Charles, 3, and Romeo Alejandro David, 2. Alec is also the father of Ireland, 24, his daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

In April, Hilaria broke the news that she was pregnant after suffering two miscarriages. At the time, she posted a pic of her baby bump, writing on Instagram, “Sound up…I'll let the baby do the talking because I don't have the words to express how this sound makes us feel.”

Along with hearing the baby's heartbeat, Hilaria added, “Just got the great news that all is well and all is healthy with this little munchkin. I wanted to share this with you. Here we go again.”

During the COVID-19 pandemic, “Extra's” Renee Bargh spoke with Hilaria, who joked that she was hiding the pregnancy from the kids. She said, “We are really excited. We just passed the mark of when we lost the last baby. I am usually somebody that I share really early on. This time, because it happened so soon after the last one, I had to collect my thoughts… I was feeling the ups and downs of my emotions from what had just happened. Then, all a sudden, the coronavirus [happened], and I wanted to be respectful not to turn the conversation to myself, so I was waiting and waiting.”

As for her pregnancy cravings, Hilaria didn't have any. While quarantining in their home in the Hamptons, she explained, “I'm so busy right now with homeschooling, and working, cooking, doing it all the time… I think I haven't been able to think about how I feel about it as much as other times… But everything is really positive.”

Last year, Hilaria and Alec expressed their desire to have another child after suffering their second miscarriage. Alec told “Extra” at the American Museum of Natural History's 2019 Museum Gala, “We're going to have another one, just not now. It's a question of time.”
