Robin Thicke Opens Up About Christmas Traditions at Rodeo Drive Holiday Lighting Celebration
“Extra's” Mark Wright caught up with Robin Thicke at the Annual Rodeo Drive Holiday Lighting Celebration in Beverly Hills, where he helped usher in the season with hits like “Give It to You" and donated $10,000 to the American Red Cross!
Thicke, who lost his famous father Alan Thicke last year, is determined to keep his family holiday traditions alive.
“It's really just about getting the whole family together and being together,” he said, adding that even though things can get hectic… “you go through all that drama so you can have the memories of being a family and being together.”
Robin said Christmas is a “big deal” in his house, thanks to 7-year-old Julian.
“He was actually just making his Christmas list up in the dressing room. We might need 2 or 3 pieces of paper for this.”
Mark also caught up with Beverly Hills Mayor Lili Bosse, who said of the tree lighting, “We are lighting up the city likes nobody's business,” adding that Beverly Hills after dark is the place to be this holiday season. “You're going to have lights, you're going to have stores open, you're going to have a vibrancy and an energy, you're going to have color, it's the place to be.”
