Which Rapper Set Up Khloé Kardashian and French Montana? Hint: It Wasn't Kanye!
Rapper French Montana joined “Extra’s” Mario Lopez at Universal Studios Hollywood, where he talked about dating Khloé Kardashian, and his new music.
French, who recently starred alongside Khloé in his music video “Don’t Panic,” cleared up rumors that her brother-in-law Kanye West set them up. “Everybody thinks that, it was Puff [Daddy], Puff was the one that introduced us… It was a studio session that’s where we met and I was like yo let me get her number and Puff gave it to me.”
Montana got shy when Mario asked how serious his relationship with Khloé is. “Man, are you going to put me on the spot like that?” To which Mario replied, “I’m going to judge by the smile that things are all good.” French admitted, “All good.”
One thing's for sure, Montana has nothing but love for the whole Kardashian family, “I love them. I had more love for them after I met them, they’re more down to earth.”
French revealed that his recent run-in with Khloe’s ex, Lamar Odom, on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” wasn’t that bad. “There were no awkward moments, no not at all,” he said.
As far as his music is concerned, he told Mario he's taking a more personal approach with his new album “Mac and Cheese 4,” and collaborating with big artists like will.i.am, Rick Ross, Puff Daddy, Miguel and Kanye.
“I’m giving the fans what they wanted, as far as keeping a mix tape as an album, and not going too extra like I did with the first one.”
