David Schwimmer Reflects on Viral ‘Friends’ Reunion Photo
Last night, David Schwimmer hit the Los Angeles premiere of his new series, FX's “The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story,” where he chatted about the viral photo of him with most of his former “Friends” cast mates at the taping of“NBC's "Must See TV: A Tribute to James Burrows.”
The photo also featured some of the cast from “The Big Bang Theory,” including Kaley Cuoco, Johnny Galecki, and Jim Parsons. Of the mini “Friends” reunion, Schwimmer shared with “Extra's” Renee Bargh, “I was really happy to see everyone. I wish Matthew could've been with us, but he's in London working, so he gets a pass.”
David was also happy to celebrate Burrows, who directed some of the “Friends” episodes. “It was lovely to be there for Jim Burrows. He really is an incredible director. I'm a big fan of his.”
As for his role as Robert Kardashian in "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story," David revealed what he learned about the late attorney through Kardashian's ex-wife Kris. “I spoke to Kris Jenner and she was very generous with her time. And I learned he was a man of great faith.”
"The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story” premieres on February 2.
