Donald Trump Blasts Hillary Clinton and Alicia Machado in Epic Twitter Rant, They Respond
Presidential hopeful Donald Trump took to Twitter for a 3:20 a.m. rant about his opponent, whom he calls “Crooked Hillary”; former Miss Universe Alicia Machado; and the media.
Here are just a few of his choice tweets, and you can read the rest here.
Wow, Crooked Hillary was duped and used by my worst Miss U. Hillary floated her as an "angel" without checking her past, which is terrible!
@realDonaldTrump
Using Alicia M in the debate as a paragon of virtue just shows that Crooked Hillary suffers from BAD JUDGEMENT! Hillary was set up by a con.
@realDonaldTrump
Did Crooked Hillary help disgusting (check out sex tape and past) Alicia M become a U.S. citizen so she could use her in the debate?
@realDonaldTrump
Remember, don't believe "sources said" by the VERY dishonest media. If they don't name the sources, the sources don't exist.

Clinton responded with some tweets of her own, including calling the rant “unhinged, even for Trump” and asking, “What kind of man stays up all night to smear a woman with lies and conspiracy theories?”
Answering that question, Trump tweeted a reference to the “3 a.m. call” Clinton envisioned in her 2008 campaign against Barack Obama, writing, “at least you know I will be there, awake, to answer the call!”
Machado, who won the Miss Universe title in 1996, the first year the pageant was owned by Donald Trump, says she was called "Miss Piggy” and “Miss Eating Machine” by Trump after she gained weight during her reign. The body shaming was something that came up during Trump and Clinton's historic first debate.
Alicia responded to Trump's Twitter attack on Instagram with the message, "The Republican candidate and his campaign team are once again generating attacks and insults and intending to revive defamations and false accusations about my life. All of this with the end goal of intimidating me, humiliating me, and derailing me once more. The attacks that have surfaced are falsehoods and cheap lies generated with ill intentions, that have no foundation and have been spread by the yellow media. This is, of course, not the first time I have faced a situation like this. Through his campaign of hate, the Republican candidate insists on discrediting and demoralizing a woman which is one of his most terrifying characteristics. With this, he looks to distract attention from his real problems and his incapacity to pretend to be the leader of this great nation.”
After the debate, Trump defended his past comments about Machado on "Fox & Friends," saying, "She was the worst [Miss Universe] we ever had. She was the winner, and she gained a massive amount of weight, and it was a real problem.”
“Extra” interviewed Machado and Trump about the controversy back in 1997. Watch!
