Alec Baldwin Weighs In on Donald Trump Campaign: ‘I May Not Support Him, But Let Him Run’
Democrat Alec Baldwin is never afraid to speak his mind, sounding-off on Republican Donald Trump's presidential campaign.
“Extra” caught up with Alec and wife Hilaria at the 15th Annual USTA Opening Night Gala, which he hosted.
Baldwin told us, “We need more participation, so when I see someone like Trump, I go, 'You know something, good for him.' I may not support him but let him run.”
He added, “Bottom line, just look at the candidates for their policies and think who's the person who's going to do the greatest good for the most amount of people, not be in the pocket of some rich constituency... but who is someone who is going to help the most American people, and that's who you should be giving your greatest concentration to. Is that Trump? I don't know.”
Alec and Hilaria also laughed off rumors that their marriage is in trouble and shut down reports that they are sleeping in separate beds.
Hilaria explained, “He so much wants to stay in the room. The other night when I had both Rafa and Carmen with me and Carmen was kicking him out of the bed, he slept on the dog bed on the floor, and I kept on being like, 'Honey are you okay? There's a couch right there. Do you want to go to the couch?' He's like, 'No, I'm fine, I'm on the dog bed.'”
Alec added, “I don't want to leave her alone, 'cause not every night, but many nights, both of our children are climbing all over her at like 3 o'clock in the morning.”
He joked to Hilaria, “Honey, I love you, you're so patient and you're wonderful. Even though we're splitting up and have a horrible sex life.”
