Kelly Clarkson Signs on as ‘The Voice’ Season 14 Coach
After days of rumors, singer Kelly Clarkson made a surprise move by becoming a coach on “The Voice.”
Clarkson will be appearing on the 14th season of the NBC singing competition, which is set to premiere in February.
Over the years, the former “American Idol” winner was reportedly approached to join the show, but was never able to free up her schedule, even though she was interested, according to Variety.
Blake Shelton, who has been on “The Voice” since Season 1, made the big announcement on a Facebook Live chat. After Kelly joined the video, she joked, “I'm finally not knocked up and I can join your show.” Blake joked, “I know! Can you stop getting pregnant every five minutes?” Kelly added, “I've been excited about this for a few years now. The timing hasn't been right, but I just wanted Blake to know that… I know he's been on the show before, and showed an award or two to show what he can do, so I just wanna show you a few of my accolades.” Watch!
