Alec Baldwin Is Coming Back as President-elect Trump on ‘SNL'
This weekend, actor Alec Baldwin is returning to “Saturday Night Live” as President-elect Donald Trump!
Baldwin's rep told “Extra” about Baldwin's return, but emphasized that he is not committed for the rest of the season. It appears to be a week-to-week decision.
Baldwin did not appear on the show last week, the first show following the presidential election.
In the weeks leading up to the election, Baldwin played the role of Trump while Kate McKinnon took on Hillary Clinton for political skits on the NBC favorite.
Despite receiving raves from viewers, Baldwin's portrayal did not impress Trump. Last month, Trump told “Extra's” AJ Calloway, "Well, I think I'm a much nicer guy than he's portraying. He's portraying someone who's very mean and nasty, and I'm not mean and nasty. I think I'm a much nicer person than he's portraying, so I think it's an inaccurate portrayal of me.” Watch!
