Arnold Schwarzenegger: Maria Shriver Is the Love Of My Life
In a new interview with “Extra’s” Mario Lopez, Arnold Schwarzenegger opens up about his relationship with estranged wife Maria Shriver, and his return to the big screen with “The Last Stand.”
“Things are going well,” Arnold said. “I have to credit my wife, who has been terrific in keeping everything together.”
Mario asked if Maria was the love of his life, he replied, “Oh yes, absolutely.”
Addressing his book, “Total Recall: My Unbelievably True Life Story,” the former governor added that it would be nice to go back and “not make the mistakes… it’s always good to be smart in hindsight.”
Since he left the governor’s mansion, Arnold has been focused on his family and reigniting his movie career. Like his character in “The Last Stand,” the actor believes “retirement is for sissies.”
So far, Arnold has lots of projects in the works, including “Terminator 5,” “Triplets” (sequel to “Twins) and another “Conan” installment.
For now, check out “The Last Stand,” in theaters Friday.
