Princess Diana’s Former Butler Reveals Her Impact on Prince Harry’s Royal Wedding
“Extra's” Mark Wright sat down in London with Paul Burrell, who served as Princess Diana's butler, to get his insights on the royal wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
During his time working for Diana, Paul was very involved with her children. He said, "Growing up, William and Harry were two different children. William was always very serious. Harry was always the wild child.”
“I'll tell you a secret,” Paul added. “I first met Harry when he was in his mummy's tummy, because Diana took my hand and put it on her tummy and said, 'Can you feel that?'”
Paul pointed out, “I watched him grow from a little baby into a young man going to school and into a fine young man who mirrors his mother's causes. Harry was only 11 when she died, and I think [it] broke his heart. He used to cuddle up to her and sleep with her."
As for speculation the wedding, Paul surmised, “I bet you that Meghan will carry white roses and white peonies because white roses were Diana's favorite. So those themes will carry through the wedding and Diana's spirit will be there.”
