Bobbi Kristina's Cause of Death Determined, Kept Secret to Aid Criminal Investigation
The Fulton County Medical Examiner has now classified the cause and manner of Bobbi Kristina Brown's death, but the public won't learn the findings thanks to a court order.
Fulton County Superior Court has ordered the autopsy report sealed, directing the medical examiner not to release any information on the case. The D.A. and the Roswell Police Department have been informed of the findings.
As TMZ writes, this development seems to suggest that police are actively working leads on a homicide investigation, and don't want to tip off possible suspects.
From the time of Bobbi Kristina's death, family members have suggested her boyfriend Nick Gordon should be investigated. In July, Bobbi Kristina's conservator, Bedelia C. Hargrove, filed a lawsuit claiming Gordon had assaulted both Bobbi Kristina and her mother, and had stolen money from Bobbi Kristina's bank account. When Bobbi Kristina passed away, Hargrove amended the suit, which Gordon's legal team referred to as "slanderous and meritless." At that time, Hargrove told People magazine:
"I have filed today an amended complaint against Nicholas Gordon adding a count for wrongful death and for pain and suffering. We will leave no stone unturned in seeking justice for Bobbi Kristina Brown."
