Justin Bieber Accused of Punching Man in Cleveland in 2016
Last June, Justin Bieber was involved in an altercation at a Cleveland hotel, and now six months later, the Las Vegas man involved has filed a police report against the singer.
Soon after the altercation, TMZ obtained video footage of the “Sorry” singer punching Rodney Cannon after Justin was struck on the head. Justin later took to his Instagram to write, "Not a scratch on this pretty boy.”
In the report filed February 14 and obtained by “Extra,” Rodney, 34, alleges that after having a few drinks inside the hotel, he and Justin headed outside, where Justin stole his glasses and put them on. After Rodney took a few photos of Bieber wearing the glasses, Bieber became angry.
The report states, "The victim (Rodney) stated he told offender (Justin), he would delete the picture if he gave him the glasses back. Victim stated that the offender started deleting pictures out of the victim's phone. The offender began to punch the victim in the face with a close fist. Victim stated he believed he was punch three times.”
Cannon also told police he was taken to Spring Valley Hospital in Nevada, where he said he had acute head injury and a possible concussion.
No charges have been filed, but the report cited assault, petty theft and criminal damages.
