Kanye West Deletes Social Media Accounts After Skipping Met Gala

Rapper Kanye West is really going off the grid!
On Friday, West deleted his Twitter and Instagram.
His decision to scrap the accounts was unexpected, since his children's clothing line, The Kids Supply, was launching on the same day.
Days before deactivating his social media accounts, Kanye skipped the star-studded Met Gala, which wife Kim Kardashian attended solo. As for why, Kim told Vogue's Andre Leon Talley, "He's at home. He's been taking some time off and really loving that.”
A source told People before the Met Gala, “Kanye's not going because he's not ready to start attending big events. He's doing great but wants to keep his stress levels low and just wants to take more time off. Kim and Kanye are in a great place.”
Kanye is apparently focusing on his kids with Kim. Another insider said, "He's happy when he's with them. The kids are happy and well-adjusted, and that's the priority.”
Another pal claimed Kanye and Kim kept any drama that they are facing away from the children. "Both Kanye and Kim have done all they can to shield the kids from this all. There was no fighting in front of the kids.”
