No PDA or Monopoly? The Crazy Royal Dos and Don’ts for Meghan Markle After the Wedding
Meghan Markle is playing by a new set of rules! As she becomes a member of the royal family, she will likely follow a list of dos and don'ts... including the Queen signing off on her wedding gown.
That's not all! See what else is in store for Meghan after the wedding:
No more PDA! While it isn't a royal decree, traditionally, members of the monarchy, including Prince William and Kate Middleton, avoid hugging, kissing, and even hand-holding in public.
Monopoly is off the table. Prince Andrew once admitted years ago, "We're not allowed to play Monopoly at home. It gets too vicious."
Keep your coat on. If a woman of the royal family arrives in a coat, she keeps it on for the length of the event. Bustle says it is considered unladylike to remove a coat in public.
Cleavage is a no-no. The women of the royal family always cover up. According to The Telegraph, Princess Diana was famous for covering her chest with a clutch as she exited cars.
Be funeral-ready. Markle will need to have a black outfit ready at all times in case she needs to attend a funeral while traveling.
Shellfish is off the menu. The BBC reports that the entire royal family avoids lobster, shrimp, and other shellfish because of the risk of food poisoning.
