Just two days after the shocking death of comic legend Catherine O’Hara, her friend Rita Wilson reacted to her friend’s passing at the 2026 Grammys.
“Extra” spoke with Rita, who remembered the “Schitt’s Creek” actress.
Rita said, “As great as she was as an actor, that’s how great as she was as a mother, a parent, a friend. She was just a wonderful person and her work will live on and we will get to laugh and enjoy everything that she put out into the world.”
Rita also hinted at what she's getting her husband Tom Hanks for Valentine’s Day.
Without saying much, Rita said, “My presents.”
Wilson was excited to be at the Grammys, saying, “I love coming here… I love music. I love making music. It’s a great opportunity for the community to be under one roof, you know, like because I get all of my buddies… It’s really nice to be able to celebrate everyone’s accomplishments.”
Rita was looking forward to the medley performance of the Best New Artist nominees, among them Olivia Dean, sombr, Alex Warren and KATSEYE.
