Indie Rock Icon Thurston Moore Is Back

Alternative rock icon Thurston Moore is back with a new album, “Flow Critical Lucidity,” out now.
The critically acclaimed new record from the co-founder of the legendary band Sonic Youth is being called one of the best albums of his career, and has made “Extra’s” Adam Weissler “Best of ’24” albums list.

Moore came to fame with the indie band Sonic Youth before a successful solo career followed. His career was documented in his recently released memoir “Sonic Life.”
Adam recently caught up with Thurston via Zoom to talk about his indie-label days, move to the majors, new album, and more!
