Tony Nominations 2024: The Complete List
On Tuesday morning, the nominations for the 2024 Tony Awards were announced!
Alicia Keys’ musical “Hell’s Kitchen” and the play “Stereophonic” led the pack, with 13 nominations each!
Hot on their heels is Angelina Jolie’s musical “The Outsiders” with 12 noms.
“Extra” recently spoke with Angelina at the opening night of “The Outsiders,” where she opened up about her daughter Vivienne’s involvement in the production.
Joined by Justin Levine, who wrote the book and score, Angelina quipped, “Viv ended up more with Justin than with me … She’s on the music, writer, and greaser team.”
Angelina pointed out that the musical is “different” from the book and movie of the same name.
Jolie gushed of the cast, “I love them and I admire them. They are an extremely talented, brilliant, kind group of people.”
She emphasized, “They really are. It’s not just that they’re good people and they are, which is rare to have. Just such a group of great people, but they are so hardworking and they’re so talented that I just can’t wait for everybody to see them, so please come.”
