Recording artist MAJOR. was also on hand to perform Miya's favorite song “Why I Love You.” The couple captured their big day with the help of photographer Khristian Snyder.

A month ago, Dickey celebrated her bridal shower quarantine-style with some friends joining virtually. She posted a pic, writing on Instagram, “Literally the best friends/ bridal party I could ever ask for. Thank you guys for setting this lil quarantine bridal shower up for me. And thank you to everyone who sent me gifts or just popped on the zoom call to show support and love!!! Love you all so much!”
In June, Marques defended his engagement to the 20-years-younger Dickey, writing on Instagram, “With all that's going on in the world, my love life shouldn't be a topic. But since it is, let me just give y'all the facts so you don't have to 'allegedly' believe or create rumors.”
Feeling the need to speak out, Houston revealed that he met his love “at a Jehovah's Witness convention” in 2018 after she “became friends” with his manager Chris Stokes' daughter, Chrissy.

View Story“Never before then, did I even know she existed,” Marques emphasized. “The fact that she was listed on one of our films was a misprint or someone being messy. Anyone can post on IMDb. And there's no way someone that young could even work on a film set in the position of Art Directer because that position requires years of experience.”
He noted that they “didn't start dating until she was an adult.” Marques shared, “We fell in love and got engaged in March of 2019. My dad Michael loves her, and the people I am closest to all love her as well. Most importantly we have Jehovahs blessing. … And that's the story. No twists, no turns, no scandals, just true love. There is nothing that can come to light, because there's no darkness in my life. You wanted the truth. I don't have anything to hide, so if you're waiting for something else, you will be waiting for ever.”
Dickey took to Instagram to thank “those who have shown me and my family love throughout the last few days.”
Even before their wedding, she was already referring to herself as Miya Houston.
