Former NBA star Tony Parker, 38, and his wife Axelle Francine are ending their marriage after six years.
In a statement, Parker tweeted, “After nine years together, during which we shared a lot of happiness, and raised two wonderful children, Axelle and I have decided to end our union.”
“This separation will be guided by complete mutual respect and the preservation of well-being of our two sons,” Parker continued. “We've decided to make this public now, in order to avoid any rumors or speculation; no further comments will be made at this time in order to respect our privacy.”
Parker and Francine are the parents of Josh, 6, and Liam, 4.
Parker met the French journalist in 2011, and they tied the knot three years later.
