On Tuesday night, actor Chris Pratt took over Hollywood for the premiere of his new animated film “Onward.”

“Extra’s” Jenn Lahmers spoke with Pratt, who was without his wife Katherine and son Jack. He said, “I rolled solo this evening.”

His son Jack already saw the movie and gave his seal of approval. Chris shared, “We went to a sneak preview with a bunch of his buddies and they were floored.”

Chris recently shared that he packed on the pounds for his “Parks and Recreation” character. He has since dropped the weight and is looking more fit these days. When asked if it was more fun to lose or gain, he said, “They are both fun in their own ways. During mealtime, more fun to gain it. But between mealtime, more fun when you're losing it.”

The 40-year-old just launched his own production company, Indivisible Productions, saying it takes its name from the Pledge of Allegiance. He dished, “I wanted to start having some creative control over the things I am in and produce… to try and create content that is going to bridge this gap and bring people together. In a world of constant wedges, I want to try and be some thread.”

“Onward” hits theaters March 6.
