Menu Sneak Peek from Elton John’s AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party

The stars will be out on Sunday for the 2020 Oscars and the lavish parties.
One celeb favorite is Elton John's AIDS Foundation Academy Awards Viewing Party, and “Extra” has a sneak peek at the menu.
Chef Wayne Elias and Crumble Catering have been catering the soirée for 16 years and will serve up a massive 1,000 meals at the bash.
This year's menu includes starters like zucchini and fennel fritters, tahini yogurt and espelette oil, and a parsnip/Granny Smith apple soup with kale chips and lemon zest oil. An arugula and manchego cheese salad with citrus vinaigrette will also be served.
The main course will be roasted branzino, braised salsify, cauliflower purée, and watercress emulsion, as well as short rib, caramelized yams, celery root mash, beech mushrooms, and Dijon shallot sauce.
For dessert, guests will enjoy a pear raspberry tart with pear mousse, raspberry cream, and matcha ice cream.
Elton launched his foundation in 1992, and the organization aims to fund experts, spread awareness, prevent infections, and provide care and treatment.
