Kim Kardashian & Kanye West Talk Wedding Anniversary, Fashion, Music, and More!
Only “Extra” was with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West at the 2019 FGI Night of Stars Gala in NYC Thursday as they got ready to present the Superstar Award to designer Rick Owens.
Kim said, “We're really excited to celebrate Rick Owens. He's a friend of Kanye's. He's one of my favorite designers.” Kanye confirmed that Kim loves Rick's clothes, saying, "Yes! She buys a lot of his pieces."
Kim smiled and added, “I'm excited to be here to represent Rick and support tonight.”
The Wests just celebrated their wedding anniversary, and Kim told “Extra” it was laid-back: “We celebrated with family, really low-key.”
Kim also dished on her husband's latest release, “Jesus Is King.” “His new album is just very easy to play over and over again,” she said. “The kids sing it. They know all the words! You can just play it all the way through. It's 100 percent gospel.”
Kanye also opened up about the album and more in a new interview with Zane Lowe of Apple Music's Beats 1.
He invited Zane to his property in Cody, Wyoming, and explained, “Now that I'm in service to Christ, my job is to spread the gospel, to let people know what Jesus has done for me.”
In the broad-ranging discussion, West got candid about his sex addiction, saying, “Playboy was my gateway into full-on pornography addiction. My dad had a Playboy left out at age 5, and it has affected almost every choice I made for the rest of my life from age 5 to now, having to kick the habit. And it just presents itself in the open like it is okay and I stand up and say, 'No, it is not okay.'”
Kanye also opened up about his marriage to Kim, saying, “I have five years of marriage under my belt. What I learned from five years of marriage is it is the greatest bond, it is a God bond to be able to have someone that you can call on, someone you can call out, someone that can call on you and call you out.”
He called himself and Kim “equally yoked,” adding, she is “someone to complain to and someone to grow with as we grow and raise our children.”
