Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick’s kids have the ultimate playhouse!
Kourtney gave Architectural Digest a tour of the backyard retreat for Mason, 9, Penelope, 7, and Reign, 4, which she describes as “modern and sophisticated, but still really warm.”
Scott built the studio with a loft for his E! show “Flip It Like Disick,” but the pair designed it together. “It is such a small, intimate little space that it is just nice to have the kids’ personal touch and our personal touch,” Kourtney said.
The space is a technology-free zone, with plenty to keep little ones busy. Kourtney even included some of her own toys and books from childhood like a rocking horse and a copy of “The Little Prince.” The room also includes vintage stools, as well as some drums and stuffed animals that her kids have had since they were little.
“A lot of these stuffed animals were the kids’ since they were babies and I thought they just brought some warmth and nostalgia,” Kardashian explained.
Who loves the playhouse the most? Kourtney said, “I would love for them to all hang out in here together, but currently they don’t. They come in here separately the most. Penelope will come in here with her friends. I think the no technology is a turn-off for Mason. He just doesn’t love that. Reign will come in here to hang out.”
Kardashian might start spending more time in the playhouse, too. “I think I’m going to come escape in here and start reading books and I’m not even going to tell anyone where I went!”
