Baby Bump Alert! Ray J & Princess Love Expecting Baby #2

Over the weekend, Ray J announced the big news on Instagram with pics of his family by the pool. In one photo, Princess showed off her baby bump in a black swimsuit. In another, their daughter Melody, 15 months, wore a “Big Sis” shirt. He captioned the series of photos, “Baby #2 on the way! @MelodyLoveNorwood your about to be a big sister! #Godisthegreatest @princesslove.”

Melody shared her own Instagram, revealing that their bundle of joy will arrive in January. Referencing Melody, she wrote, “Somebody's gonna be a big sis 👶🏽🍼 New addition arriving Jan 2020 @melodylovenorwood @rayj#2under2 #Blessed.”

Earlier this year, Ray J expressed his desire to have another child with Princess. He told Us Weekly, “I want one more right now. I'm trying right now, I'm trying to get one in and hopefully we can have another by April, if it happens. They could be friends and protect each other, like my sister and myself."

As for how many kids they ideally want, Ray said, “She might want three or four, but two is good. Knock-two punch, bada-bing, bada-boom. We in and we out… Hopefully, if we get a boy, we've got the perfect family!”

He also dished on fatherhood and how it has changed his life, saying, “It's been amazing. It's just totally made me have a different outlook on life and just how to move and be. I was crazy, so now I'm sane and I'm focused on just being the best dad I can be and working hard.”

In 2017, Ray J opened up about their pregnancy struggles on “The Real” while admitting they had been “trying for a while.” Ray added, “It's not as easy as people think. For some people, they just go on tour and get everybody pregnant. But for me, it was love. We took our time, and as we were taking our time, it just took a little while.”

At the time, he explained why he wanted to have a baby girl at the time, saying, “I want to have a little girl first because it's like daddy's little girl. A little boy is probably going to be a little aggressive, so I just want to be able to have some peace first. But whatever God blesses us with, I'm happy.”
