Bode Miller & Wife Morgan Expecting Twin Boys — 1 Year After Daughter’s Tragic Drowning

Olympic skier Bode Miller, 41, and wife Morgan, 32, have twins on the way!

During an appearance on “Today” on Monday, the couple announced the happy news.

Debuting her baby bump, Morgan told Savannah Guthrie, “From the beginning of our relationship, [Bode] always said, 'I want identical twin boys, born on my birthday.' And this time, when we found out I was pregnant, I said, 'Do you think it's twins this time?' And he said, 'No.'”

After going to an ultrasound appointment, Morgan learned that they were going to have identical twin boys, who are due in November, a month after Bode's birthday.

Bode chimed in, “Somehow, I always knew that I was going to have identical twin boys.”

The news comes more than a year after they lost their daughter Emeline, who drowned in a pool at a neighbor's house party in Orange County.

Morgan shared, “Every day is a choice, how we want to continue forward and make sure that our kids are getting the best of us, of life — and not to say it's easy.”

“It's a battle every day to get out of bed. But to see them and see the joy through their eyes and to live vicariously through all of their daily experiences makes each day just a little bit easier,” Morgan continued. “We carry Emmy with us every day. That part doesn't get any easier. We just imagine what it would be like to have her there. We share tears, we share memories… keeping her part of our family has really made this journey a little bit easier for our family.”

Bode and Morgan are also the parents of son Easton, 10 months, and son Nash, 4. Bode is the father of son Samuel, 6, and daughter Neesyn Dacey, 11, from previous relationships.

On Instagram, Bode shared a photo of his kids, writing, “Twins! Identical twins! 🤯 Couldn't be more excited to grow this beautiful family my wife and I have created. Dream come true.#Millerboysstrong #Millerbrothers #Montanaboys.”
