Surprise! Kevin McKidd & Wife Arielle Welcomes Baby #2

Over the weekend, McKidd and wife Arielle Goldrath welcomed their second child, a baby girl who they named Nava.

On Tuesday, McKidd shared the news on Instagram, writing, “I'm so happy to announce the arrival of our little baboo – Nava James McKidd. She is amazing and our whole family feels blessed.”

The 45-year-old never announced their pregnancy, so the baby news comes as a surprise! The baby arrived a little over a year after the couple welcomed son Aiden. McKidd went on, “We just got her home and Aiden is already a brilliant big brother to her.”

McKidd is also a dad to daughter Iona, 17, and son Joseph, 19, from his previous marriage with Jane Parker. He referenced his older children, saying, “Joe and Iona are the best guiding lights to these new souls.”

As for his wife, Kevin gushed, “Arielle is a WARRIOR and I'm so proud to witness her natural mothering strength and wisdom. Full of love and gratitude #clanmckidd.”

After hearing the news, his co-star Kelly McCreary wrote on Instagram, “Kev!!! She's here!!! Congrats to you and Arielle!!!”

Jake Borelli added, “This. Warms. My. Heart. Congrats Kev!”

According to People magazine, Nava weighed 6 lbs., 5 oz., and measured 20 in. long.

McKidd told the outlet that life with Nava has been “hectic but also so much fun.”

He elaborated, “I am back at work now on Season 16 of “Grey's” and Arielle is busy with her own culinary projects. We are all so happy and settling into things with Nava. Our family just grew by one amazing little girl! We are so blessed and lucky to have healthy and happy kids.”
