Wendy Williams’ Son Arrested After Alleged Family Altercation

Yikes! "Extra" has learned Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter Sr.'s son Kevin Jr. was arrested in New Jersey on Tuesday by the West Orange Police Department.

Now, law enforcement sources confirm Kevin Jr. has been arrested for simple assault. He was never taken to jail, and was released on summons.

Sources tell TMZ the father and son got into an altercation in a store parking lot that ended with Kevin Sr. putting the 19-year-old in a headlock. The teen allegedly fought his way out of the hold by punching his dad in the nose.

His dad, however, tells the site, "I love my son very much and I will not be pursuing this matter legally. Things are not always how they appear."

Wendy and Kevin Sr. are in the middle of a tumultuous divorce, and he recently exited "The Wendy Williams Show."

Insiders told TMZ the fight was over Kevin Sr.'s demand for spousal support, and Kevin Jr. relying on his mom for help.

In April, Wendy filed for divorce, just days after reports he fathered a child with Sharina Hudson. A source claimed to People magazine, “The split is definitely due to Kevin's ongoing infidelity and that his mistress recently welcomed their child. Wendy had hired a private investigator and confronted him. He confessed to everything three weeks ago.”

DailyMail.com claimed Kevin had been living a lavish lifestyle with Sharina, even residing in a secret hideaway in New Jersey. He was spotted picking her up in a new, maroon convertible Rolls-Royce, and supposedly gifted her a gold Ferrari Portofino.
