Is ‘Endgame’ the End of ‘Avengers’? Zoe Saldana’s Candid Answer
Zoe Saldana is a mega movie star, wife and mom! “Extra's” Renee Bargh sat down with Zoe to get the scoop on her movies and life at home.
Fans are freaking out over Zoe's Marvel flick, “Avengers: Endgame,” which could be the biggest movie of all time. Renee grilled Zoe about her character Gamora's fate after “Infinity War,” but she wouldn't give up the goods, saying, “Whoa you're a bit forward aren't you… Not on the first date, hello!”
She went on, “I don't want to ruin that element of surprise… Preserving that special element that the theater provides... I think it's worth protecting, that's all. Sorry, I get preachy, but it's true!” Is “Endgame” really the end of “The Avengers”? Zoe replied, “Of course it's not the end, come on, Marvel is a studio.”
Zoe is also a part of the next two “Avatar” movies. “I'm done with my portion... probably 95 percent of it… now they're getting ready to go to New Zealand to shoot all the live action, so expect 'Avatar 2' at the end of 2020.”
At home, Zoe is busy raising her three children with husband Marco Preggo, saying the kids don't realize she is a movie star. “No, and if they did you should be worried for them okay? My husband is very proud of what I do… He's always looking at life with bright eyes… It is important for him that our kids are proud of having working parents.”
She added, “We do incorporate them in our everyday lives, because at the end of the day I am not a movie star, I am an artist, and that's the part I like to share with them.”
She smiled, saying, “It is funny when you turn the TV on, and like, they're watching a trailer for 'Missing Link' and… they do this thing like little poodles do when they recognize something, but they don't know what it is. They hear my voice and then they look at me, it's the funniest thing… But I always wait for them to ask questions, because if they don't ask, why am I telling?”
