Michelle Williams & Chad Johnson Call Off Engagement
Destiny's Child singer Michelle Williams and pastor Chad Johnson have ended their engagement.
On Friday, Williams broke the news on Instagram while promoting her new single “Fearless.” She said, “I still remain fearless. I guess I still remain single! Things didn't work out. The healing that needs to take place is a must! I don't wanna destroy another relationship. Blessings to him, his family and ministry. #FEARLESS.”
The news comes just a month after the pair sat down with “Extra's” Mario Lopez at Universal Studios Hollywood to promote their OWN show “Chad Loves Michelle.” During their chat, Michelle stressed the importance of couples therapy and their decision to abstain from sex until after marriage. Watch!

Over the summer, Michelle checked into a mental health facility for severe depression. She told People magazine, “There was a period of time where we did not know if we were going to make it down the aisle.”
She added, “I'm assuming a lot of relationships go through a period of time where one or more people get overwhelmed. You don't even know what it's like to have real love because I've had to fight so much in past relationships: fight to have a place, fight for you to see me, fight for you to love me, fight for you to be faithful. In this relationship I didn't have to do that, but I was so ready to fight.”
