Kanye West Goes on Pro-Trump Rant After 'SNL' Gig
Kanye West, a last-minute replacement for intended musical guest Ariana Grande, went on a tirade after the show's credits, in which he stumped for President Trump and accused Democrats of a conspiracy to keep black people poor.
The speech was caught on video and uploaded by comic Chris Rock, who muttered, "Oh, my God..." as it unfolded.

People magazine reports that West said of Democrats, "Actually, blacks weren't always Democrats. It's like a plan they did to take the fathers out the homes and promote welfare. Does anybody know about that? That's the Democratic plan.”
A couple of audience members clapped, but most other reactions were boos and a loud, "F-ck Trump!" to which West said liberals should "try love."
Laughed at by the audience, West, in a MAGA cap, complained, "You see? They laughing at me. You heard 'em, they scream at me, they bully me. They bullied me backstage — they said, 'Don't go out there with that hat on.' They bullied me backstage. They bullied me. And then they say I'm in a sunken place. You want to see the sunken place? Okay, I'ma listen to y'all now.”
West's wife Kim Kardashian West, 37, their daughter North, 5, Kourtney Kardashian, 39, and Scott Disick, 35, were in the audience for Kanye's performances and his speech.
On Sunday, West outrageously tweeted that the 13th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution — which abolished slavery — should itself be abolished.
this represents good and America becoming whole again. We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love pic.twitter.com/a15WqI8zgu

In follow-up tweets, he clarified that he felt the 13th Amendment should be amended, because, in his opinion, slavery still exists.
Celebrities have been weighing in on Kanye's statements, including singer Lana Del Rey, who performed at Kim and Kanye's wedding. In a post, she called Trump's election "a loss for the country" and termed Kanye's support of Trump "a loss for the culture."
