Watch! JD McCrary’s ‘My Name' Music Video
Singer and actor JD McCrary is quickly becoming a household name thanks to his performances on “Little Big Shots" and his casting as Young Simba in the upcoming remake of “The Lion King”!
The 11-year-old phenom is also a series regular on Tyler Perry's “The Paynes,” sang with Childish Gambino on the 2018 Grammys, and is the youngest male solo artist to sign with Disney/Hollywood records.
Today, he's debuting his new music video for “My Name”!
In the video, McCrary is decked out in Tommy Hilfiger, including a wool varsity jacket, as he shows off his range and dance moves. Keep your eye out for cameos, too — Marsai Martin and Miles Brown from “Black-ish” both make appearances.
JD told “Extra,” "Filming the video was like a day of hanging out with my friends. The smiles and laughs are all real!”
